Senior rowing at Sidney
We put out at least six senior crews to compete in the Getting-On Race for the Lent and May Bumps. Our top men's and women's VIIIs have raced off the Cam too, at the Head of the River Races on the Thames and the British University Championships, as well as at local and regional regattas.
In May Bumps 2026 Sidney was the best-performing boat club on the Cam, moving up a total of 14 places and winning the Pegasus Cup. It's a good time to join.
University rowing
In recent years Sidney rowers and coxes have trialled for the Cambridge University Boat Club, Cambridge University Women's Boat Club and Cambridge University Lightweight Rowing Club, with several going on to race at the Henley Boat Races. If that's your aim, we'll support you.
Postgraduates
Did you row as an undergraduate elsewhere? Senior crews are open to postgraduates exactly as they are to undergraduates, so get in touch.
